It Takes a Village

I believe in holistic healthcare. And that means working together as a team with other practitioners who have skills in areas I don’t.

These are people I consider to be part of my tribe, who support me, and whom I trust.

I hope you enjoy working with them as much as I do!

  • Reverend Meg

Spiritual Development & Growth, Oceanside & Virtually

Rev. Meg is one of my mentors. I’ve always been an intuitive, but had so many mixed messages about what was and wasn’t true about Spirit and the metaphysical world I was full of doubt and frustration. Meg and her “Brigade” do an amazing job of cutting through the bullshit of delusion and misconception. She provides clear, actionable guidance. She also has kick-ass courses that help you become your own voice of wisdom and clarity. She’s funny, gorgeous, and very down to earth. I highly recommend her.

  • Andy Hsieh

    Movement Specialist, Mira Mesa

    It’s pronounced ‘shay’.

Andy’s been my physical movement guru-guide for since 2020. I was actually referred to him by another movement expert!

Working with Andy is a great compliment to CST. Craniosacral therapy can help unwind tension and restore balance, but it doesn’t build strength. Andy is an exceptional observer of body mechanics. He helps you learn how to be in your body, move with integrity, and build that strength. He’s great at modifying and simplifying movement. He meets you where you are, and takes you where you didn’t even know you needed to go. And it bears mentioning, he does it with nonchalance and lots of laughter. He’s the opposite of “no pain, no gain.”

He offers a FREE 90min consultation. I highly recommend him.

  • James Armour

    Bodyworker, South Park

James is my CST guy. I need regular self-care too. I met James through Andy. He’s been a practicing for a couple decades. I love working with James because he flows with me wherever I need to go in the session. Sometimes things are very metaphysical and abstract, sometimes we work very closely with physical connections. He’s great.

He’s often the person I refer my patient’s spouses to. Mostly because of therapeutic alliance when couples therapy is needed. Patients get protective of me being “their” therapist.

  • Dr. David Katcef, ND

    Naturopathic Doctor, Newport & Virtually

Dr. Dave and I went to naturopathic medical school together. Somehow, though our interests and specialties lie on the opposite ends of the spectrum, we became best friends. We often discuss cases and give each other insights on how to show up as better doctors.

David is who I often refer acute patients, over-medicated patients, or patients wanting bioidentical hormone replacement therapy. He worked and did his residency in a diverse private practice within Hoag Hospital in Newport. He’s seen it, and he knows how to help.

He’s a nerd who can draw every artery and vein of the human heart or teach you about your biochemistry. He loves succulents and is owned by two cats.

  • Tamara Thomas, CSOM

Orofacial Myofunctional Therapist, Poway & Virtually

Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy (OMT) is a program used to correct the improper function of the tongue and facial muscles. Working with Tamara helps you strengthen your tongue, face, and mouth muscles so that everything rests and engages appropriately.

If you’re having breathing, sleep, pain, or generally want to improve your quality of life, Tamara can assess you, and give you targeted exercises to retrain your oral posture for optimal health!

    Plus, she’s a delightful human.

  • Debbie Johnstone

    Animal Communicator, Arizona

Don’t be put off by the “Arizona” part. Debbie can tune into your fur-baby in New Zealand. It’s uncanny, and so useful! She’s been my kitties “therapist” for years. Whenever I have a particular request (like stay out of my planters, or be home at curfew), I call Debbie. I think of her like a translator. She’s able to help me hear what’s going on with my kits and help them understand my concerns and needs too. We all feel better after. I notice after every call they’re both more calm, affectionate, and, they typically adhere to the requests! (I mean they are cats, sometimes it takes a follow up call.)

I adore Debbie. All she needs is a photo of your fur-baby where she can see their eyes. Plenty of my patients have texted back saying “thank you so much!”
