Hi, I’m Dr. Megan MArie

My mission

To bring more love, kindness, and consciousness into the world, one patient at a time. The more love, kindness, and consciousness we have towards ourselves, our health, and our bodies, the more we have to share with the world.

My Story

I’ve been called an old soul as long as I can remember. I started developing my skilled touch at an early age by giving massages to my parents, extended family, friends and even classmates in elementary school. I knew I could help people feel better with my hands. But I never thought about healing touch as my answer for “what do you want to do when you grow up?”

Life tends to bring us eye-opening opportunities (ahem, wake-up calls) through illness, discomfort, and heartache. As I grew from child to adolescent to adult, life just seemed to feel harder and harder. I had frustratingly vague fatigue, depression, anxiety, PTSD, along with various physical ailments and relationship troubles at different points in my journey.

These intangible physical and emotional concerns led me down so many avenues of study for my own self-healing including different modalities of energy healing and New Age philosophy, yoga, meditation, astrology, herbal medicine, flower essences, nutrition, the mind-body connection, EMDR, and eventually naturopathic medical school where I learned anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, counseling, neuro-emotional technique, craniosacral therapy, and more.

I realized that all of my life experiences and areas of study engendered in me deep compassion, a genuine expression of loving presence, curiosity, a knack for analogies, and (often an off color) sense of humor. Compassion that in many ways we are all still children in adult bodies trying to figure out Life without a blueprint or field guide. We all want to love what we do in life and be loved by others. We all want to be listened to and acknowledged. And ultimately to have fun and be playful on this spinning, orbiting sky-rock!

Why I specialize in Craniosacral Therapy

As a Naturopathic Doctor

I discovered craniosacral therapy through a fellow student in med school. I utilized CST on almost every patient I saw. Even if it was only a 15-minute treatment while I was waiting on my supervising doc. I worked with so many different people, from the Latino business owner with insomnia, to the African-American woman with heavy menstrual periods and allergies, to the 4-year old boy with recurrent vomiting, to the new mom with intense eczema, to the 70-year-old smoker who dragged in his wife to try it even though he “didn’t really believe in this stuff before,” the list goes on. Patients began requesting to see me on my shifts where they could get full craniosacral treatments or depended on those brief 15-minute “while-they-were-waiting” sessions as part of their treatment.

I fell in love with craniosacral therapy.

I fell in love with the gentle, yet profound way that it helped my patients get real relief on the table. I fell in love with the way that doctor and patient were equally involved in the process, and amazed and honored and grateful that this gentle connection can make such a difference.

I fell in love with the way craniosacral therapy became a gateway of capacity and curiosity for more health.

When we get relief, we have more capacity for life. We have more capacity for our loved ones, for our job, for our community, for ourselves. And when we have more capacity for ourselves—hydrating, eating well, exercising, and cultivating healthy relationships is possible and even enjoyable. That is why the fulcrum of my practice is based on the philosophy and practice of craniosacral therapy: a gentle, yet profound approach to health.

Because building your capacity to thrive is what I love to do!

Let’s work together!

Break your cycle of pain and overwhelm. Get the relief to come home to your capacity to do life & be well!
